DROIT À LA LIBERTÉ is a non-profit association governed by the law of July 1, 1901. The SIRET number is 91159649200015 (hereinafter referred to AS “the Association”). 

DROIT A LA LIBERTE is a French humanitarian aid association which collects funds, via its site accessible at the following address: https://droitalaliberte.com/ (hereinafter “the Site“), to help people in Ukraine by providing basic necessities (sending of food, hygiene products, medicines, batteries, external batteries etc.)

Our complete legal notices are directly accessible on our Site.

We attach great importance to the protection and respect of your privacy.

As part of our associative activity, we are required to process personal information about you.

This policy aims to inform you about our practices regarding the collection, processing, use and sharing of such information, some of which is likely to identify you directly or indirectly (hereinafter the “Personal Data”).

When we use the term “we” or “the Association”, we therefore designate the Association DROITA LA LIBERTE, expressly defined in the legal notices present on the Site, as data controller or subcontractor of Personal data that we collect through our Site.

2. WHAT DATA IS COLLECTED AND UNDER WHAT CIRCUMSTANCES DO WE COLLECT IT?

2.1 TYPE OF COLLECTED DATA

During the various contacts we have with you, when you make a donation, browse our site, when you contact us for any question you may have, you may be required to provide us with personal information about yourself.

The Personal Data collected and processed may be the following: last name, first name, email address, IP address, data relating to your payment methods when you make a Donation.

2.2 USE OF COOKIES

During each of your visits to our site, we collect information relating to your connection and your navigation. Different technologies can be implemented to collect data such as “Cookies”.

– For the payment of Donations and the management of invoicing: we keep the data relating to the card used for payment for the time necessary for the transaction and in order to guarantee proof of the transaction;

– To process and track your requests for information, help and/or contact via our “Contact us” tab.

When we process your personal information for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, we rely on one or more legal bases: (i) specific, free and informed consent, (ii) compliance with a legal obligation or (iii) legitimate interest.

Your data is also processed through the payment service offered through our Site. We invite you to consult their privacy policy.

4. HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR DATA?

Your personal data is kept for a period in accordance with legal provisions or proportional to the purposes for which it was recorded.

Request for information, help and/or contact: 1 year from your request then deletion;
Management of your donations online: 3 years then archiving;
Production of statistics: 1 year then deletion.

5. WHO MAY HAVE ACCESS TO THE DATA WE COLLECT?

As data controller, we implement appropriate technical and organisational measures in accordance with the applicable legal provisions, to protect your personal data against alteration, accidental or unlawful loss, use, disclosure or unauthorised access.

8. WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS?

In accordance with the applicable regulations, you have the following rights:

The right of access: You have the right of access to the data which are being processed.
The right of rectification: You have the right to obtain the rectification of the Personal Data concerning you which are inaccurate.
The right to erasure: This right is however not an absolute right and we reserve the right, may have legal or legitimate reasons to retain said Personal Data.
The right to limit processing: In certain cases, you have the right to obtain the limitation of the processing of your Personal Data;
The right to portability: You have the right to receive the Personal Data concerning you that you have provided, in a structured format and you have the right to transmit this Data to another Data Controller.
